In pursuing the Faith in Action Award, it is imperative that the safeguarding of young people under 18 is assured by those with responsibility for the activities being undertaken. For activities conducted within Participating Organisations (i.e. schools, parishes etc), the safeguarding arrangements in force within those organisations should be followed. For activities which are undertaken by young people outwith such an organisation, the parents or guardians of those under 18 are responsible for ensuring the safety of the activities undertaken by those in their care.
